John Muller was a founding partner of Montross Miller Muller Mendelson and Kennedy. For over thirty years he represented patients with significant medical malpractice claims. In addition to medical malpractice, John also has extensive trial experience in medical products liability cases.
John was born in New York, N.Y. on November 20, 1947 and was admitted to the Bar in 1973. In 1974, he was admitted to the Indiana and U.S. District Court, Southern District and Northern District of Indiana. He served as Deputy Prosecutor, Marion County Prosecutors Office, from 1975 to 1977, and went on to serve as Public Defender, Marion County Criminal Court for two years. John was admitted to the U.S. Tax Court in 1982. He has also been admitted to the U.S. Court of Appeals, 7th and 8th Circuit and U.S. Supreme Court.
He was a frequent lecturer on Medical Malpractice Litigation in Indiana.
John was a member of the Indiana Trial Lawyers Association, the Indianapolis Bar Association (Litigation Section), and the Indiana State Bar Association. He still contributes his time to various community organizations and has been active in the United Way Budget Allocation Committee for Greater Indianapolis and a member, Executive Committee of the Marion County Democratic Party. He served as Vice Chairman of the Marion County Election Board.
John retired in 2017 and has two children: Jenny and David.
